CompTIA Stackable Certifications

You’ve put in the time, proved you have the knowledge and skills, and earned the certification. Maybe you’ve rinsed and repeated that cycle multiple times and now you have multiple certifications to your name. Your certifications validate your experience but how to bundle that into a cohesive designation? Well, CompTIA has the answer for you, they have created CompTIA Stackable Certifications.

WHAT ARE COMPTIA STACKABLE CERTIFICATIONS?

CompTIA Stackable Certifications are a new way to showcase the skills you’ve validated through earning your CompTIA certifications with a new designation. There are two pathways for the new CompTIA Stackable Certification designations.

1. Infrastructure Career Pathway
2. Cybersecurity Career Pathway

Each pathway within CompTIA’s Stackable Certifications is also categorized by experience level; specialist, professional, and expert. Specialist designations recognize IT professionals with up to 2 years of experience. Professional level designations are for IT professionals with between 2 to 5 years of experience. The expert level designation is for IT professionals who have over 5 years of experience.

Like earning individual certifications CompTIA’s Stackable Certifications for either pathway validates the IT professional’s technical skills and knowledge from the beginning to end, regardless of years of experience.

AUROUS : THE POPCORN TIME FOR MUSIC

Aurous should be available for public alpha on October 10th which means the team has a month to polish the current press build for public consumption. Whether it will prove to be a Popcorn Time-like success story will remain to be seen but its creators are certainly hoping for something big.

Interestingly enough, if Aurous does indeed to shake up the market it will need to provide a better level of service and music discovery features than the free tier of Spotify. While that won’t be easy, Sampson seems to think the challenge is within reach.

The HP Voicetab 6 is HP's first phablet. It's got a 6-inch 720p IPS display. The screen has really good viewing angles but only average contrast ratio. HP SLATE 7 VOICE TAB

The HP Slate7 Voicetab, as its name suggests, is one of those compact tablets that you can actually use as phones. Awkward as it is, you can lift it up to your face and have a call on it as you would with a normal phone (well, kinda). HP will be offering the Slate7 Voicetab with an optional Datapass mobile data service. That includes 250MB of data per month for 2 years.
